Created by the nototious Ministry of Burlesque, Victorian Values has been an ongoing obsession for it’s creator, it’s writers and producers for three years. A composite team of history buffs, natural eccentrics  and connoisseurs of comedy, the chief writers are Kirsty Lucinda Allan, Mark Lee Carter and James Malach with musical direction and composition from Desmond O’Connor and contribution from Jim Devereaux, Matt Devereaux, Gypsy Charms and the cast.

Who are Ministry of Burlesque?

The Ministry of Burlesque are Britain’s premier protagonists of burlesque theatre. Born out of an evangelical passion for inclusive performance and innovative production, MoB was created to help nurture and establish a happy and productive industry for a new century of enthusiasts.

As the first to bring burlesque back to the oldest surviving fully-intact Victorian music hall (Britannia Panopticon Music Hall), as fundraisers for it’s restoration, as historical researchers, as serial media and press contributors, as managers of extremely talented people, as original producers and as professional teachers, “Together We Can-Can”.
